Reporty?is a suite of tools aiming to bridge the gap between people and the resources designed to help them. It is the 1st video emergency app launched by a country (Israel), used on a national scale, supporting a mobile application for Apple?s iOS and Google?s Android devices, as well as a Command and Control Center.
When people are found in emergency situations, directions they give to Police or other first responder teams are often incomplete / incorrect. This is because the ability to report events when people are under stress is weak; events important to the emergency teams may also seem unimportant to witnesses.
This is why Reporty supports live video broadcasting, from a mobile app to a Command and Control center. The operator of the platform can see events live and record this information, as if they were on sight (?Fire?, ?Medical?, ?Police? categories are available). Other information, such as GPS coordinates, are also fed to the system. Reporty uses its custom ?Indoor Positioning? system, which can pinpoint the location of a subject with an accuracy of less than 1 meter. Additionally, the ?Reporty Router? subsystem can optimize transmission channels by automatically picking the most stable method of communication. It adapts protocols accordingly, as telecommunications networks cannot be relied on, especially during major catastrophe events.

Additionally, when audio communication is not possible, Reporty also supports live chat. Furthermore, social media channels are used, a user can get (and transmit) information to from (to) their acquaintances, concerning safety incidents.
